Same thing happened to me one time, but instead of a tree, my car smashed a hole in my neighbor's house. Not a good day...but we laugh about it now. :)
I saw the picture, and had to speak up. I came to it through Jill's blog, and without seeing any explanation, I knew what had happened because it happened to me. Imagine sitting at a busy downtown Lexington, Kentucky intersection and seeing a police car with red and blue lights driving backward unmanned approximately 300 yards through the intersection and impaling itself on the biggest utility pole in the greater metro area. Yeah, that was me, the young "always vigilant" rookie police officer. I feel your pain, but had to admit I smiled a little inside, too.
